| Calc98 Online Scientific/Engineering Calculator |    "This is an experimental online version of Calc98 which is designed to run directly in your browser, without needing to download software to run on your PC. It is very basic and has only a fraction of the capabilities of Calc98. The calculator opens as a small window that can be moved to any position on your screen. The calculator uses Javascript. You cannot run it if your browser has Javascript disabled, or in the unlikely case that your browser does not support Javascript." |

| Latin Terms and Phrase |    Mathematics is an ancient discipline, and consequently it has picked up a good deal of terminology over the years that is not commonly used in ordinary discourse. Phrases and terms from Latin make up a large part of this terminology, and reading mathematical texts (especially more advanced ones) is made easier if one is equipped with knowledge of these terms in advance. |
| MathFrog |    MathFROG, a free mathematics site of fun resources and online games for parents, teachers and students in grades 4, 5 and 6. Some of these games need access to a printer for worksheets that are part of the game. |
| Overview of Geometer's SketchPad |    This site gives students (and teachers) a plan for a thorough run-through of a number of features of Geometer's Sketchpad (dynamic geometry software). This would be an excellent way to get used to the program and to be comfortable in using it for further exploration. This site will prepare students to be able to formulate conjectures and generalizations about geometric relationships involving two-dimensional figures, through investigations facilitated by dynamic geometry software. |
| Select a Calculator |    This site provides buttons to "quick jump to one of our most popular online calculators". Choose a scientific calculator, fractions calculator, currency calculator, a calculator to convert units or another to find current time at any global site. The calculator opens in a small window that can be positioned as you wish on your screen. The scientific calculator (new beta version) has the option to view the 'tape' so that you can check your input. The fractions calculator has a younger 'Snoopy' skin. While this section of the site is useful, the further options can be safely ignored. |
